Artist Chandrakant Tajbije Artist Statement :
As an artist I try to capture the intimacy of the rural spirit in my art. I find nature as the true inspiration which gives me visual sensations that I try to depict in my paintings. I use stylized forms and innovative colour schemes to bring out the mystery and grace of my subjects. Their simple charm and innocence moves me and I try to show it with subtle gestures and postures which give my work a symbolic sub-text. I believe that art has to transcend styles and genres to appeal directly to the viewer's mind and heart.
