Celebrating the life of Late Mr. Milind Sathe
Milind Sathe, art activist, passed away in the city on February 10th following a brief illness. He was 60.

Milind Sathe, who set up Art India Foundation, undertook many activities and projects to promote art and art awareness among the broader society, and particularly, children, especially underprivileged and special children. Milind Sathe created ‘Khula Aasmaan’, a platform for creative expression by children and young adults, and ‘Armaan’ to tell stories of people with special needs who are positively engaged with themselves.
Milind Sathe also worked with tribal children all over Maharashtra, children undergoing chemotherapy at Tata Cancer Research Centre, and thalassemia children with the Red Cross.
Milind Sathe is survived by his wife, Dr Prachee Sathe, his son, father and sister.
