Information Zain (Zayn) Malik is a former member of the British boyband One Direction. His familial roots date back to Pakistani origin as his father belongs to Pakistan, however his mother belongs to British-Irish background. Born and raised in Bradford, West Yorkshire, Malik aspired to pursue a career in music from an early age, and auditioned as a solo artist for the British music competition The X Factor in 2010.
He left One Direction in March 2015, and now records solo songs collaborating with other artists, consequently developing unique versions of music.
This painting by young artist Sayuri Sunil Bhanap received a Bronze Medal in Khula Aasmaan student's art competition for July to September 2017.
