Artist K G Subramanyan Portfolio

The eminent artist and scholar K. G. Subramanyan was born in 1924. Painter, sculptor, muralist and print maker Subramanyan was imprisoned by the British for taking part in the Quit India movement. On his release he came to study at Kala Bhavana (1944-48) and little later he studied at the Slade School of art, London (1955-56).
