Artist Statement :

Since 2011, I have been making various types of decorative articles which can be used on occasions such as festivals, weddings, family functions. Corporate sector can use these articles as a gift to their clients, associates and so on.

• Post-Graduate Diploma in Pre-primary Teachers Training in "Outstanding" grade, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Paranjape Pre-Primary Teachers Training College, Pune
• 2000 : M. Sc. (Microbiology), AGC, Pune University (Carried out project at NCL, Pune, at M. Sc. Level, titled "Chitin metabolism in B. bassiana and M. Anisopleae.")
• 1998 : B. Sc. (Microbiology), AGC, Pune University
• 1995 : HSC, Abasaheb Garware College (AGC)
• 1993 : CBSE, Jnana Prabodhini Prashala, Pune (Central Board)

 

Experience :

• Worked in Polytest Laboratory in Pune for 1.5 years as Microbiologist.
• Worked for 6 months in Children’s Paradise (Chaitanya Primary School), Pune.
• Worked in Sevasadan English Medium School, Pune as Pre-Primary Teacher for 6 years.
• I have also conducted private tuitions up to 10th Class for 3 years.
• I have conducted training in Bharatnatyam at Su-Darshan Hall in Pune for 3 years.
• Performed in a few Bharatnatyam programs along with my Guru, Dr. Swati Daithankar.
• I have been working as a Bharatnatyam Teacher with Sevasadan English Medium School from academic year 2012-13.

 

Accreditation :

• Won first prize in group classical dance competition held by Akhil Bharatiya Sanskrutik Sangh at All India Multi-Lingual Drama and Dance Competition in 2005.
• Performed "Arangetram" in February 2005 at Tilak Smarak Mandir, Pune, under the guidance of my Guru, Dr. Swati Daithankar.
• My students won third prize in group as well as duet classical dance competition held by Akhil Bharatiya Sanskrutik Sangh at All India MultiLingual Drama and Dance Competition in 2017. This dance was choreographed by me.
• Sevasadan English Medium School has won First Prize for the last two years in classical dance competition held by Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth. These dances were also choreographed by me.
