Remarks

Matsya Avatar, one of the ten Avatar of Lord Vishnu. Since Madhubani style of art is believed to be originated during the marriage of lord Rama and Sita artisans of King Dasharatha's court decorated the whole Mithila with this style of painting. As it is related to Lord Rama, therefore Matsya avatar.

This painting by young artist Sweety Sarangi (20 years) received a Shortlist in Khula Aasmaan painting competition for college students for April to June 2022.
