Remarks

This particular Dzong is in Paro, Bhutan. Rinpung Dzong is a large dzong Buddhist monastery and fortress is a wonder to look at. The river flowing from the side of the monastery is Paro Chhu. From all the wonders I have seen in Bhutan this is my favorite and I wanted to capture it as a painting.

This painting by young artist Mrinalini Majumdar (24 years) received a Shortlist in Khula Aasmaan art competition for young adults for September 2021.
