Remarks

The artwork portrays the gaze of an old man, his sight of plight & helpessness. In this pandemic, there was a lot of people who were starved to death & had uncertainty of life & living. The expressions of the old man thus depicts the tale of his agony.

This painting by young artist Surosa Naguri (19 years) received a Honorable Mention in Khula Aasmaan national art competition for for young adults for April to June 2020.
