Remarks
The queen of tragedy. For reasons unknown, I connect with queens who have fought with depression. Madhubala is the epitome of grace and beauty. I was deeply saddened
to hear her personal tragedy, her fight with cancer. I was moved to hear how she used to hide this from her colleagues during her shooting days. What hurt me most was her sudden and early death in her 30s. She was a flower who couldn’t bloom enough.
