Shree Ganesh, painting by Professional Artist Bhalchandra Mandke

Bhalchandra Mandke did his G. D. Art from Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalay, Pune in 1975. Mandke worked at Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalay, Pune, from 1976 till 2006. He retired as a full Professor in 2006. Mandke mainly taught fine Arts at Abhinav. From childhood, Mandke used to be intrigued and awed by nature. His passion for nature can be seen in his paintings.

Remarks

Ganesha also known as Ganapati, Vinayaka, and by several other names, is a popular and most worshipped Hindu god or Hindu deity. Ganesha is widely revered as the remover of obstacles, the patron of arts and sciences and the deva of intellect and wisdom. As the god of beginnings, he is honoured at the start of rites and ceremonies. Ganesha is also invoked as patron of letters and learning during writing sessions. Ganesh Chaturthi is a festival that celebrates the birth of Ganesha. The festival is also known as Ganesh festival or Ganeshotsav.
