Remarks
Ananda Village is near one of the most beautiful lakes in the world, Lake Tahoe. This is a fall scene with birch trees in the foreground and the lake and mountains in the distance. In part, I was painting a scene that I came across during a hike and, in part, I was simply enjoying playing with a full palette of colors, trying to capture a beautiful day and a beautiful world. When our thoughts are uplifted, we are half-way to heaven.
