Remarks
Our life-long spiritual guide, Swami Kriyananda, had a memorable experience. He and a fellow monk had climbed high into the Sierra mountains to a ridge near Los Angeles. As the sun began to set, the light turned to a golden yellow on one side and a silvery blue on the other. Swamiji said it was transcendently beautiful, and he felt as if he were in the astral world. This painting is an attempt to capture that moment.
