A graduate in Science and a post graduate in HR, Bhavana Masurkar Bagade started dabbling in art initially to overcome monotony of day to day life. Very soon, this became a compelling passion. It further evolved to be a kind of meditation, where Bhavana found peace with herself and found her purpose. Painting is an inward journey for Bhavana, enabling her to look within, discover herself and find solace.
She prefers dry pastels, colour pencils and charcoals as her chosen mediums as she believes that they offer her better control over her art, which she likes to be realistic.
