Art India Foundation was established as a public charitable trust with the objectives as mentioned below :

  • To spread awareness of Arts in the society
  • To deliver value based education to children through medium of Arts
  • To undertake Art initiatives for challenged and under privileged children
  • To organise Art Workshops, Demonstrations and Camps to propagate and further Art knowledge and culture
  • To organise and undertake unique Art Projects and Events

All donations to Art India Foundation are eligible exemption under section 80 G of the Income Tax Act.

A lecture-demonstration was organised by Art India Foundation for the students of Madhavrao Bhagwat High School, Vile Parle, Mumbai on "Creating art objects out of coconut shells and bamboo". This was conducted by Shri. Ramesh Date, a veteran artist who has dedicated his life for propagation of this craft.

Exciton - Russian Folk Dance

Rainbow - Russian Folk Dance Rainbow - Russian Folk Dance
"Exciton" - A Folk Dance performance by Russian dance troupe organised by Art India Foundation and Union Batteries at MES Auditorium, Mayur Colony, Pune on 19th July 2012.
This group of teenagers from Russia has won several gold medals in international dancing contests. They have performed in Germany, Spain, Czech Republic, France, Japan, Cuba, Greece, China and Tunisia and have won first prize in dance competition in Russia and East Europe. They will present modern and folk dances from Russia and other parts of the world.

National Ceramic CampThis was organised by Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi and hosted and supported by Art India Foundation, Pune. This camp was scheduled during 23rd February to 3rd March 2008. The chief guest for the valedictory function was Dr. Deglurkar, President, Deccan College, Pune.
