Art Competition for Children and Young Adults

Khula Aasmaan conducts art competitions which include kids art competition, art competition for children, painting contest for college students and more.

Please find below Terms & Conditions for participating in Khula Aasmaan art competitions. You cannot participate in Khula Aasmaan art contest without having read and accepted the terms & conditions stated below

Terms and Conditions

  • Khula Aasmaan is open and free for students in the following age groups - 5 to 15 years and 16 to 25 years. Khula Aasmaan is a registered trademark in India. The trademark is owned by Link Indiaart.com Pvt. Ltd. (hereafter referred to as “Indiaart”)
  • Art India Foundation is a registered public charitable trust. Art India Foundation conducts various workshops and events related to Khula Aasmaan.
  • Khula Aasmaan conducts a quarterly contest. The submission is online using the form provided on Indiaart website.
  • Entry to Khula Aasmaan contests is FREE.
  • Children between the age 5 to 15 years can submit their entries in the following types of art (size of the artwork should be A4 or A3) :
    • Sketches & Drawings
    • Paintings
    • Cartoons
    • Collage
  • Young adults between the age 16 to 25 years can submit their entries in the following types of art (Size of the artwork should be A4 or A3) :
    • Sketches & Drawings
    • Paintings
    • Cartoons
    • Comic Art
    • Posters
    • Doodles
    • 3D Art on paper
    • Digital Art (any artwork created using digital tools)
  • The jury of Khula Aasmaan prepares a shortlist from the entries received. All original shortlisted artworks will be required to be sent to Khula Aasmaan by the respective participant. These artworks will be retained by Indiaart and will become the property of Indiaart. Indiaart will use these artworks for the purpose of exhibitions, promotions and for any other purpose as may be required from time to time. Indiaart will not sell any of these artworks and these will be retained by Indiaart in its collection. Indiaart will also make available on loan basis the original artworks or its prints to Art India Foundation or any other suitable organisation for the purpose of conducting exhibitions, workshops, training programs and other such activities.
  • The final shortlist of artworks received will be published on Khula Aasmaan contest results page in Indiaart website and its social media pages including the blog.
  • Indiaart will create a dedicated web page for each shortlisted student and will maintain the portfolio of the student's artworks for a period of three years.
  • No payment will be made for any shortlisted artwork that is received by Indiaart.
  • All the shortlisted artowrks which are received by Khula Aasmaan will undergo another round of judging to decide medals and honorable mentions. Khula Aasmaan will promote the medal winning, honorable mention and shortlisted artworks from each quarterly art contest.
  • Decision of Khula Aasmaan will be final and binding.
“Khula Aasmaan” (meaning Open Sky) is a registered trademark which is owned by Link Indiaart.com Pvt. Ltd. (https://www.indiaart.com). Khula Aasmaan is a platform for creative expression by children and young adults. We have chosen “Khula Aasmaan” as the way to spell this as we believe that it is the phonetically most appropriate way to spell it. Khula Aasmaan may also be spelt as Khula Asmaan, Khula Asman, Khula Aasman.

Khula Aasmaan conducts art competitions and creates educational content in art and science for children and college students. Khula Aasmaan encourages the children and young adults to think independently and express themselves.
