Eco-friendly Ganesh idols

Making of eco-friendly Ganesh idols workshop was conducted between 6th to 28th August 2011 at Pune. The duration was 11/2 hours on Saturday and Sunday spread over two weekends.The participants were guided through the entire process right from mixing the clay, giving finishing touches and painting. Moulds were used to shape Ganesha idols. Participants without any known artistic skills created professional looking Ganesha idols.

These eco-friendly Ganesh idols were displayed at an exhibition at Balgandharav Kala Dalan, Pune on 30th and 31st August 2011.
