When you want to paint something, just think, what attracted you to the subject. Stick to that and paint. I got attracted to yellow roses for the subtle colours, delicate and soft petals. Without doing any pencil drawing, I tried to paint it loosely. I painted bold, simplified shapes quickly, keeping the edges soft. Watery colours get spread and mix with each other. While working in this style, you may sometimes mess up. Don't worry about always creating a good painting. It is important to enjoy the process. For this painting, I have used watercolours on handmade paper.
तुम्ही जेव्हा एखादया विषयाचे चित्र काढायला सुरुवात करता, तेव्हा प्रथम तो विषय तुम्हाला नक्की का आवडला याचा विचार करा. हे पिवळ्या गुलाबांचे चित्र काढताना मला त्यातील सूक्ष्म रंगछटा, नाजूक पाकळ्यांचा मऊ मुलायमपणा आवडला. त्यामुळे त्याच्या आकारातील बारकाव्यांकडे लक्ष न देता, ओले रंग एकमेकांत सोडून, ब्रशच्या फाटकार्यांनी पटकन चित्र पूर्ण केले. या पद्धतीने काम करताना कधी कधी चित्र बिघडू शकते परंतु नेहमीच चांगले चित्र झाले पाहिजे असा अट्टाहास न ठेवता चित्र काढण्याचा प्रक्रियेचा उत्स्फूर्तपणे आनंद मिळवणे महत्वाचे ! हे चित्र काढण्यासाठी मी जलरंग व हँडमेड पेपरचा वापर केला आहे.
