World Environment Day
Milind Sathe, founder of Indiaart.com and Trustee of Art India Foundation organised an art exhibition at Leela Galleria, Bangalore by renowned artist Prakash Bal Joshi to commemorate World Environment Day 2011.

This exhibition was inaugurated on Saturday 4th June 2011 on the eve of World Environment Day (5th June 2011) and continued till Sunday 12th June 2011. The chief guest for the evening was Smt. Sumitra Gandhi Kulkarni, grand daughter of Mahatma Gandhi.

Prakash Bal Joshi has participated in art events at Lisbon (Portugal), Croatia, Norway in Europe and at Las Vegas, USA. Some of his remarkable exhibitions have been Subltle Changes,  Art for Environment,  Ways of Spirit and  In Search of a River.
   
 
Rainbow - Russian Folk Dance
"Rainbow" - A Folk Dance performance by Russian dance troupe organised by Art India Foundation, Union Batteries and Russian Cultural Centre, Mumbai at MES Auditorium, Mayur Colony, Pune on 15th June 2011 to commemorate 50 years of Yuri Gagarin's historic manned mission into space.

"Rainbow", the troupe from Russian city of Voronezh was formed in 1979. The troupe is lead by Mr. and Mrs. Belousov who have been decorated by the Russian Government. RADUGA is the honoured ensemble of people's art and creativity. RADUGA is the winner at many international festivals at Algeria, Bulgeria, Germany, Holland, Egypt, Spain, Portugal, Tunicia, Swede, France and Japan. Leaders of the ensemble RADUGA are honoured artists of the Russian Federation – They are Elena and Genady Belousovy.
