This is an internal touch that built a bond with my life, expressing this,I am bound with Vasai and it's heritage culture. Hailing from an evergreen village like Vasai, I was born on 31st December 1950 in a rural family. I completed my primary and secondary educations from the village schols in Vasai. Having a natural instinct and hobby of Drawing Art in me, I tried to develop it in my early childhood days to motivate my prospective future. Though I found none of my family members having this stream of arts in them, I put my might, to withstand all the odds and compalicities with my strong will power.

Ganeshayan by Anil Telharkar

This exhibition 'GANESHAYAN...' is a series of exclusive classical Indian style paintings of 'Shree Ganesha'. I have completed all my work (paintings) in natural light. Sculptures of 'Shree Ganesha' in various forms & postures found in ancient temples have always been very challenging for me & this inspired me to choose this as the subject for this show. Anil Telharkar born in 1964 at Nagpur. He has achieved his degree in Applied Art (B.F.A) from Chitrakala Mahavidyalaya, Nagpur. His painting inspirations comes from Ancient Indian Art as seen in the sculptures & paintings of Ajanta, Ellora, Khajuraho, ancient temples & many other ancient monuments.

Sangeeta Takalkar

Born in 1966. She has achieved B.F.A and Diploma in Art Education from Sir J. J. School of Art, Mumbai. Works in Figurative, Landscape and still life in Acrylic on paper. she is a winner of several prizes and awards which includes award from the Art Society of India She has participated in several group exhibitions.

Vinayak Takalkar

Born in 1962. He has achieved G.d. Art from Aurnagabad Govt School of Art and and diploma in Art Education from Sir. J. J. School of Art. He has participated in several group shows. Works in figurative and landscape in oil on Canvas. He is a winner of prizes from Nasik Kala Niketan and State Art Exhibition. His interview was published in BTW magazne in Feb 2010.

Sunil Bambal

Born in 1979. He has achieved Dip in A-ED from Sir j.J. School of Art, Mumbai and G.D. Art from Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya, Pune. He has done four solo exhibitions and participated in several group exhibition in India. His works are in private collection in India and abroad.His work is semi abstract in Acrylic on canvas.Recently he has done series of works on Karna from Mahabharata and a Banyan tree .
