Information The picture I painted talks a lot about the nature, wildlife & the balanced ecosystem. The presence of tigers is an indication of a balanced ecosystem. The lush green trees, the sultry flowering crystal clear water & the rays of sun peeping enthusiastically through the trees refresh our minds. The scene relaxes & enhances us. When i heard about the trees which were cut down in Mumbai, I felt the need to express my grief. Painting being the best medium of expression for me, I decided to paint this painting. Due to deforestation burning of land, animal hunting & trafficking, there is a decline in the number of tigers in India to a huge extent. This has surely had an adverse effect on the environment. Through this painting I am trying to encourage everyone to take efforts to make this earth a better place to live(for everyone, including plants & animals) Till now I have painted many painting on canvas using acrylics as well as oil paints. I enjoy painting different themes, making fusion etc. But the vibrant colors of nature fascinate me. Nature gives me inspiration to paint & I am sure my paintings reflect it. It was a challenge for me to pint this painting with oil paint on the paper. I had never used oil paints on paper before. Oil paint help me tp bring out the vibrant colors of tiger & the environment.
