“Displaced”, the exhibition of paintings by Kingsley Gunatillake was inaugurated on Saturday, 3 rd September 2006 by Dr. S. B. Mujumdar, President and Founder Director of Symbiosis. Dr. Mujumdar has pioneered the concept of international cultural exchange which has resulted in to establishing Symbiosis as an institute of national and international repute.
In this exhibition – “Displaced”, Kingsley has presented drawings and paintings which reflects the travails and turmoil of the Sri Lankan society ravaged for several years by internal strife and lately due to the natural calamity of tsunami.
