Aku Jha
Aku Jha is an eminent artist who studied art at M.S. University, Baroda. Born in 1940, Shri Aku Jha has been painting for about 35 years. He has been using mediums such as oil, acrylic, pastels, gouache and collage. He has four solo exhibitions to his credit till date.
His paintings accurately represent his masterly command over diverse paint media and techniques. His drawings, portraits, Village Scenes and wild life paintings clearly bear out the quality of his magical realism. What is consistent in his varied style of work is the conviction with which it is rendered.
Rahul Parekh
Born in Vansda, a small town near 'Vansda NP', Southern Gujarat. In early age he got chance to move different parts of India especially National Parks and Sanctuaries, and fall in love with the animals, birds & nature, He was never focused about his career until, he visited Royal Chitvan National Park, Nepal. He credits, this trip became milestone for beginning his passion for wildlife paintings. Drawing was his early recreational activity, but after visiting this park, wildlife became his foremost subject for paintings. Before becoming full time wildlife artist, he worked as a software engineer in IT field. His ultimate desire was to do something for conservation of wildlife & to create awareness among the people at large, and decided to take the interest seriously and serve for nature with dedication.
He is self taught artist, took guidance from 'Saurashtra Chitrashala' in basics of paintings, and gradually developed his own style of painting for wildlife & nature art. He realised, to pursue a career as Wildlife Artist, requires Passion, Patience & Dedication towards the nature. He do visit different Sanctuaries and NP for capturing wild animals in their natural habitat, so he can give justice to convey the essence of the wilderness more realistically. Rahul Parekh loves to create wildlife and nature art, which depict the moods, expressions, actions, conservation issues and life of wild animals & birds using Oils or Graphite.
J.S.Munnolli
Born in 1940 at Banhatti. Awarded Dip. In Handloom Technology, Govt. of India. Studied Creative paintings in
Tanzania. He worked as assistant Director ( Retd. ) Weaver’s Service Centre, Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India.
He has done 18 one man shows and participated in several group shows. He has done several paintings on wildlife
till date.
Manisha Padhye
I was always interested in art and nature and combining the two was the most natural thing to do. I did my Bsc
(Phy) from Fergusson College in Pune and had some informal training in painting from Shri. Bal Wad. I am a self-
taught artist and painting for last twenty years from Pune. I paint in both acrylic and oil on canvas and in
watercolours on paper. Birds and animals hold a lot of fascination for me. I like to combine watching nature when
I go for treks and cycling tours. I have had 6 solo shows three in Mumbai and three in Pune since the year 1998. I
have also participated in a group show organized by a Marine artists group in Pune.
Padmaja Ranade
Born in 1968. She has done M.A. (Art and Painting) from S.N.D.T. college. Painting for last several years and
favorite subject in painting is birds. Works in Watercolour on paper. She has done one solo show in Pune on
paintings of birds.
Saket Mehendale
A 25 years architect by profession. Painting was always his first passion. Saket Mehendale's black and white
portraits and colourful landscapes in watercolour and charcoal are a delight to watch. He likes to read up
a lot on his subjects and also chooses them carefully. He loves working in black and white, especially
playing with light and shadow. They are preety bold and prominent in most of his charcoal and pencil artworks. Mehendale also works on soft pastels. He is happy to work in all three mediums and hopes to explore them further more before moving onto other mediums.

Bharat Jasani
I am Bharat Jasani from Gondiya, Maharashtra. I am 59 years old and love for nature and Wild life is since my childhood as Gondiya is surrounded by forests. Have started serious Photography from last 4 years. I am working on conservation of Sarus Cranes and Black Buck with Gondia Nisarg Mandal, Gondiya. My father was honorary Wild Life Warden for our District for 10 years and I have been nominated for the same post. I use Canon S 5 IS.

I am Chetan Jasani from Gondiya, Maharashtra. I am 34 years old and my love for nature and Wild life is in my blood since my childhood as Gondiya is surrounded by forests. My grand father was honorary Wild Life Warden for our District for 10 years and my father is an ardent wild life lover and conservationist. Have started serious Photography from last 4 years. I visit all the forests of central India frequently use my Panasonic Lumix TZ 1 Camera.
Asim Manohar Auti
Profession: Lecturer . I am a graduate in Microbiology and done my masters in Biodiversity. I worked on my research work in Environmental Molecular Biology at University of Bremen, Germany for 2 years. Now joined in Abasaheb Garware College, Dept of Biotechnology.
During my masters, thanks to my professors Dr. Milind Watve & Dr. Ankur Patwardhan, I started going out on fields, understanding the environment & interactions between nature and all living beings. At the same time I learnt how to conduct scientific studies and how to ‘Read the Forest’. Without my own camera or any other equipment, I started shooting everything that interested me with my hotshot camera.
My 1st photograph selected for public display was in Sakal photography competition in 2004-05. After that in 2009 during Vasundhara activities, one of my photos (Alps Mountain Forest) was selected in Sakal-Reflections’09 and a photo of Rock pigeons won 1st prize in The Weekly Wildlife, Nature and Conservation Photography Contest online.
