Soumen Pal - Sculptor

Born in 1977. He has completed B.V.A in Sculpture from the Indian College of art and Draftsmanship (Kolkata) 2004 with Certificate of Merit and M.V.A. in Sculpture from Govt. College art & Craft (Kolkata) 2006 with Ajoy Bankim Bose Scholorship from Govt. College of Art & Craft.

He has participated in several group exhibitions and participated in several workshops. He works in bronze and makes sculptures in figurative and subjects like – cinema, struggle for chair, struggle to reach on the top of ladder, yoga mudra, peace. Their will be around 10 sculputres in Bronze on display.

Ashish Kumar Pradhan

Born in 1981. He has completed B.V.A., (Bachelor of Visual Arts) , Govt. College of Art & Craft, in 2004 and M.V.A , (Master of Visual Arts) , Govt. College of Art & Craft, in 2007. He has been awarded in 2004, 2005 & 2006 from annual Exhibition of Govt. College Of Art & Craft. He has done several group exhibitions and also participated in several workshops. His paintings are in collection with individuals in Kolkata and Mumbai.

He works in Tapestery medium (Jute, cotton and father) on cloth. Subjects he like to do are Beauty, Sunset, Song, Face, Durga, Tantra etc. His five paintings will be on display.

Bibek Krishna Devbarman

Born in 1966 . He has completed Bachelors degree in painting and faculty of fine arts from M.S.U Baroda(1985-1988) also completed one year diploma in painting in 1989-1990, He has completed two year post diploma with national scholarship (1990-1992), and also worked under the tutelage of Sir Gulam Mohammad Sheikh at MSU Baroda till 1992. He has participated in several exhibitions and his works are in collection in India and Abroad.

His works are in Acrylic medium on canvas like mother and child, bull race etc…. Five paintings will be on display.

Artist Statement : I fantasize of a world out of my own nostalgia where there is warmth of human relation and they seek joy with various activities……I seek my source of inspiration in my immediate world and organize them to create a space with a difference.

Mantu Kumar Mandal

Born in 1976. He has completed B.A. from Govt College North- Bengal university,  Malda (W.B.) in 2000, and B.F.A. from Indrakala Sangeet University, Khairagarh, Chhattisgarh in 2003. He works in mixed media and acrylic on canvas and paper. He works on subjects like village life, Rain, Hotel, Sadhu and Sant etc.. His Five paintings will be on display.   

Artist Statement - My work contains images from Folk Artists, Villages, Rust Fields, Landscapes and also images from city accumulate with colorful moods interaction with different spheres of Living beginnings. I want to show mostly the heritage which has lost and want to establish the remembrance of it.
