By profession a Software Engineer, Surjit's passion for painting started from childhood. He has completed Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata.

With a passion for Art and craft all his paintings are unique in their ability to stimulate viewers visually and emotionally. Primarily he draw realistic paintings which depict human figures and natural landscape focusing mythology religious and cultural which is closed to his heart the way he feel them.

Being a passionate lover of Art his creations are never restricted by any specific media. He tried almost all the mediums from Pastel, Watercolor, Charcoal, Acrylic and Oil on Canvas. He tried to give his paintings a different dimension beyond the color boundaries, to help the viewer relate the subject more with the nature with some space of thinking.
