Artist Statement :
I completed my diploma in Interior Designing and Furniture specialisation in the year 1986. My furniture design got well recognition, consecutively for 2 years in the Annual Exhibition of J. J. School of Arts. I worked as a free lancer in the Interior Designing, Space Planning and continues to be the one, since last 22 years. My specialisation is residential Interior Designing. Even after hectic working hours, I simultaneously continued painting in various mediums as my hobby. Over a period of 22 years, I designed various homes but the artist inside me was unsatisfied and seeking the further scope for my art. In mid 2009, I came across Water-Color painting workshop by renowned artist Mr.Sibabartra Ray. In this workshop, I was fascinated by magic of water colors and got attracted towards the transparency of different colors which turned into miraculous work. I continued taking guidance from Mr. Ray and within a year I exhibited my work at Green Strokes Art Gallery in May 2010. Recently I exhibited my paintings in December 2011 at Dr. Diwakar Dengle Art Gallery, Pune.
