Apart from his successful career as an Advertising & Industrial Photographer, Sateesh has also excelled as a photographer for Hindustani Classical Music artists. His lens has been as senssitive as the retina in capturing the fleeting moods of artists in performances.

The great Humourist Pu. La. Deshpande in his remarks to the photographs displayed in an exhibition writes - These excellent photographs create musical melodies in the minds.

Since 2003 he is publishing thematic calendars each year featuring the themes like "Music Calendar", Anand yatri Pu. La. , Diggaj and many more. "RAVE" a magazine published from Bangalore and and devoted to Music, has published a special feature on his photographs. This article was entirely triggered by the calendars he brought out.

Currently he is working on two projects of books featuring his photographs.
