A picture is worth a thousand words.

A photograph is worth a thousand thoughts.

"An earnest photograph is a reflection of the inner mind…" - Shridhar Deshpande

A post graduate in Earth Sciences from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, India, he always found himself to be a field person. He has worked for over last 25 years in various professions.

Till recent times, He was working with one of the largest global IT companies at senior managerial level. During these years, he tried to pursue photography as much as he could.
He has now chosen to take his hobby as his profession. His objective is to promote the idea of “Earnest Photography”.

It has always amazed him to discover how a single mind can have so many prominent aspects.
Blurred and crisp, harsh and subtle, light and dark, close and distant, fast and slow…
A range of photographs, in many ways, narrates a photographers mind.

It is not always the technical perfection in a photograph, that makes it beautiful. Even hazy, underlit and blurred images which bring out Meta objects and emote eloquently can form master pieces of art.

It is his strong belief that there is an artist in each one of us, often not expressed earnestly. His desire to bring out this artist in each one, has prompted him to use photography as a medium and thus was born the concept of "Earnest Photography".

He would love to get to know more and more artists and share his thoughts.
