Ganesha is also known as Ganapati, Vinayaka or Binayak. Ganesha is worshipped throughout India and the images of Ganesha is found in neighbouring countries such as Sri Lanka, Thailand and Nepal. Ganesha has a unique feature in the form of elephant head. Ganesha is also invoked as patron of letters and learning during writing sessions.
