Artfest 10

Participants Feedback

Prakash Bal Joshi, senior artist from Mumbai who was a special invitee to the Live Painting event says : Pune is prime city for cycling in India . The event proved very useful to inculcate cycling spirit in Pune to bring it on par with Amsterdam where cycling and art exist together. It was very live art camp where more than 50 artists were involved in painting live , depicting their concern over degradation of environment. Message through colour and forms was clear at Empress Garden - Go Green

Feedback from Sandeep Khedkar who participated in the Live Painting Event at Empress Garden : "The Live Painting event was really unique in the manner it commemorated World Environment day, not just in thought but in action as well. The travel to the beautiful venue by cycling enthusiasts on bicycles set the tone for the artists to paint their hearts out in the lush green surrounds! It is a remarkably memorable experience both as an artist and a world citizen promoting a green future. I look forward to many more such theme based events working towards a nature cause."

Chetana Chaudhari-Sudame who was part of the Live Painting event says : It was an enriching experience to be part of the live painting event at Empress Gardens. The enthusiasm coming from the feeling that we are doing something good for the environment, gave it a different ambiance. I am proud to be part of this event. -
