Born in 1969. Ritu graduated in Arts from Kanpur and is a self taught artist.

She has been experimenting and evolving as an artist. She believes that with each painting she experiences the evolution within. The art of John Fernandes has had a major influence on her work and thinking.

Ritu has so far worked on subjects and themes such as figurative, still life, Buddha and Ganesha. Her preferred mediums are pastels on paper and oil & acrylic on canvas.

1988 : B. A. - Graduation from Christ Church College, Kanpur.
Fashion designing, Textile designing course, diploma course from Kanpur Polytechnic.
